Good Samaritans is a non-sectarian and a not-for-profit organization that offers emergency assistance to individuals and families who have been residents of Charlotte County for at least six months.

For more than a quarter century, the “Caring Hands” of the Good Samaritans of Charlotte County has been helping residents facing difficult life situations.

Good Samaritans is there when emergency situations occur such as job layoffs, illness or raising prescription cost. Eligible residents can receive food from our pantry or financial assistance with utilities that are about to be “turned off”.

Thanks to the generosity of individuals, churches, community and civic organizations such as the Rotary and Kiwanis Clubs, plus the annual food drives by The National Association of Letter Carriers, and The Boy Scouts we are prepared to meet as many needs as the support of our partners is able to provide.
